Some pointless Vampire Knight picspam which will interest no one except anime lovers or vampire lovers.

I kind of adore this anime? The animation is not the greatest I've seen, it's ok for most scenes, just really crappy when there's some action, but the story is really compelling, and the three main characters are likeable/mysterious/sexy enough. Plus, there's biting, and I can never resist that. So only for you, a rather lengthy picspam, that the word "not dial up friendly" doesn't even cover (+70 pictures).

Spoilers up to 1X11. Except most are not real spoilers, in the actual "spoiler" sense (the biggest spoiler happens episode three, so sue me). Lots of scenes are from the latest episodes, but they're kind of gorgeous and I wanted to include them, y/y?

This is part I. So yeah, expect part II of the same length sometimes during tonight, haha!

- I'm sorry I haven't been able to keep up with all your Ljs as I hoped I would. I can't lie and say I've read everything either. But I'll be sure to rectify that when I'll... you know, be free again!

- I am thinking of renaming this LJ. Scratch that, I am going to rename this LJ. For some reasons, I feel like I need it. I can't be sure why. I don't even pay for my LJ the whole year but I feel like I should throw 15$ to rename it. Oh well... btw, the new name is more likely going to be theroadtoerebus. Also, new layout!!

- Question of the day, fanfic readers. While I acknowledge that AUs are precisely alternate for a reason, lots of AU are also out of character, which is fair enough, considering that alternate lives lead to alternate personalities. However, some fanfics out there are only just taking the name of the protagonists, transplant them in a total different settings, with completely different personalities. It's not a criticism, I'm mainly curious. Some are badly written, but some are also well written, and I can't help but question their appeal as AUs.

As a stand alone work, aka original work, would they have the same appeal? Would it be as easy for the reader to identify to the characters that much? Or is the mere fact of having the names of the protagonists you care about that create an instant connection and make it easy to appreciate the AU?

I guess none of you is a specialist of Anne Bronte and would be willing to chat a bit about how I could write the next 15 pages of my infamous Master?

I'm in a mood to bite people's head off. Wait, I already did. Maybe that's why my entire flat is not speaking to me. I wish I could blame it on PMS. Meh.
